Marketing Apprentice | Isle of Man

Who are we?
As one of the world’s largest providers of offshore legal advice and services, a placement with Appleby offers you the opportunity to work with both the Isle of Man and global marketing team to deliver marketing and business development support to our network of professional lawyers.

Why apply?
The successful candidate will begin the placement in July and will complete a one year paid placement working in Appleby’s Douglas office four days a week, with one study day to work towards the Chartered Institute Marketing Foundation Certificate in Marketing (Level 3 and 4).

The scheme is aimed to provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the marketing industry through gaining experience and knowledge on the job and working towards the foundation certificate at the same time.

The role
You will primarily support the Isle of Man office with all aspects of marketing and business development including events, internal communications, email campaigns, market research, advertising, press releases and supporting the lawyers with ad hoc marketing requests. In addition you will support the wider marketing team on regional and global campaigns.

About you
We are looking for a bright spark to join our team. No previous marketing experience is necessary but we are looking for someone with enthusiasm to get stuck in with our highly collaborative team.

If this sounds like you please use “Apply Online” to send us your CV along with a short review of an impactful communications campaign and how successfully it engaged the target audience.  Closing date for applications is Friday 16 June 2017.

Applicants will also need to submit an application to The Marketing Partnership in order to comply with CIM quality procedures.

Please contact Kezia Lightfoot, Marketing Executive, for further information.

The new Marketing Apprenticeship Scheme is an exciting opportunity for local people to experience a whole variety of marketing opportunities while achieving professionally recognised CIM qualifications right here on the Isle of Man.  Applicants must therefore be an Isle of Man Worker to apply for this Apprenticeship.
