The role
This position is a management role supporting the BVI office in the supervision, improvement and co-ordination of the provision of resources and support services. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:
■ Leading Human Resources management to include recruitment, on-boarding, HR systems administration, compensation and benefits administration, co-ordination of training and resource management.
■ Working closely with the Departments of Labour and Immigration on work permits, renewals and immigration matters.
■ Supporting the BVI Office Managing Partner in the development of policy and procedures that support the strategic direction of the BVI business.
■ Acting as a liaison with Regional IT Director for local BVI performance issues.
■ Organising and co-ordination of local client and staff events.
■ Managing facilities and office supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
■ Identifying areas for operational improvement and increased efficiency.
■ Maintaining a Business Continuity Plan for the BVI office.
■ Project management of both local and globally driven initiatives working as part of a global HR team.
This is a managerial role that would suit an experienced professional with a background in either HR or Operations. The following skills are also required:
■ Highly confidential and trustworthy.
■ Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, partners, directors and clients alike with a minimum of supervision.
■ Excellent organisational skills with the proven ability to balance competing priorities.
■ A degree or qualification in Human Resources Management is desirable.
■ Proven ability to work at a management level with strong influencing and persuasion skills.
